Calpol Infant Suspension Sugar Free Paracetamol Syrup - 100ml
Calpol Sugar-Free Infant Suspension is a strawberry-flavored oral suspension and is used for the relief of Fever (raised temperature), post-immunization fever, cold and flu symptoms, teething, headache, sore throat, earache, and other aches and pains. This product is intended for use in children aged 2 months to 6 years. Contains Paracetamol. Do not give this medicine with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Please see the leaflet. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Check that the cap on the bottle is securely engaged at all times. Dosage: Infants 2–3 months: 2.5 ml. Leave 4–6 hours before a second dose. Can be given to babies 2-3 months with post-vaccination fever. Can also be given for other causes of pain and fever as long as they weigh over 4 kg and are not premature. Do not give more than 2 doses. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Indication:
For the topical treatment of cold sores of lips and face.
Directions:
Adults and children: Apply a thin film of cream to the infected area and surrounding skin five-time daily at intervals of approximately 4 hours for five days. If the infection is not healed, you can continue the treatment for five more days.
Caution:
If your cold sore gets worse or is not healed within 10 days, see your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if your cold sore is very severe, you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you know your immune system is weakened.
Cold sore cream is for the topical treatment of cold sores of lips and face.

Adults: Take one to two 5ml spoonfuls (first line or second line in dosing cup). Repeat as necessary. Maximum of 12 spoonfuls in 24 hours.
Children aged 3 - 12: Give one 5ml spoonful (First line in dosing cup). Repeat as necessary. Maximum of six 5ml spoonfuls in 24 hours.
If used as a laxative.
Adults: Take six to nine 5ml spoonful (30-45ml measured in dosing cup) at bedtime. Repeat nightly, reducing dose until constipation is relieved.
Children aged 3 - 12: Give one to two 5ml spoonfuls (First or second line in dosing cup) at bedtime.
Do not use it for more than 3 days.
Contains: 415mg of magnesium hydroxide per 5ml
Caution: Do not use if sensitive to any of the ingredients. Before using consult your doctor if you have kidney problems or are taking any other medication particularly Tetracycline, Digoxin, dicoumarol, or cimetidine.
